Bedtime Stories - Free Clips! (2008)

When Wendy's life unravels after her husband leaves her, she has to call on her brother, Skeeter to watch over her two children while she gets things together. Thinking that he can capitalize on this twist of fate, Skeeter tries to manipulate the bedtime stories for his benefit, but he discovers that life has a way of complicating things.

The Truth-Telling Power of Film - Why Use Movie Clips as Sermon Illustrations

There is a lot of negative writing about the moral cesspool that is frequently Hollywood film. I have written a fair amount of it myself. Chances are great that in future columns in this space, you will see more of it. If that is true, why bother to use film as illustrations in sermons, small group discussions, or youth groups? The answer lies in the power of stories to embody the truth and to make morality come alive.
